Learning Outcomes Students will:
  • Demonstrate fundamental movement skills in combination in open and closed environments
  • Combine developmentally mature skills while participating in movement and fitness activities

  • Kick a moving ball using accuracy and force
  • Dribble with foot keeping ball close and changing pathways
  • Perform a variety of gymnastic skills (log roll, forward roll, backward roll, cartwheel, handstand, tripod, tuck jump, pike jump, bridge, balance walk, single and group balance poses)
  • Perform Cha-Cha Slide 
  • Perform throwing and rolling skills with force and accuracy
  • Perform Bounce Pass with force and accuracy
  • Perform a set shot using correct form.
  • Dribble a ball while moving 
  • Perform ½ mile walk/run or pacer assessment
  • Perform one other fitness assessment (curl-ups, right angel push-ups, or sit & reach)
  • Perform volleyball skills
  • Strike with short and long handle implements.
