Educator Performance

Under the School Change initiative, NHPS heavily invests in our employees to ensure that we hire, develop, and retain the very best talent.  We recognize that strong teachers and administrators are the most significant factors in student success.
 
In 2010-11, NHPS launched new teacher and administrator evaluation and development systems that:
 

  • Recognize and clelebrate great teachers and administrators;

 

  • Identify struggling teachers and administrators; and

 

  • Provide intensive training and resources to help low-performing educators improve, giving them the assistance they need to succeed as professionals. Low-performing educators who fail to improve are moved out of the system.
