Technology

Technology has become an integral part of the life of today's student. Not long ago, math teachers fought to keep calculators out of their classrooms. Now, a calculator is as much a part of the class as the textbook. More instructors are adding streaming video, Internet research, and multimedia products to their tool kits every year. This is a new era in education. Students are being influenced by these technologies to communicate globally. Education has a new challenge - teaching beyond the walls of the classroom.

Educational Technologies and Library Media are the two departments that bring technology and research to our students. Each department’s curriculum has integrated technology to adapt to our content curriculum. The library media specialist is the technology focal point at each of our schools. This focus will help our students develop the skill sets needed in the 21st century.
